Apex Power Distribution — and the intelligence brand built around it
Apex Power Distribution engineers, integrates and modernizes low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems from The Woodlands, Texas, for customers nationwide. ApexPower.ai is our digital technology brand: the automation, controls, monitoring and machine-intelligence work that turns switchgear into a system you can see.
Powering Tomorrow with Safety, Integrity, and Excellence Today.
What we do
Engineering, integration, manufacturing support, modernization, automation and monitoring
Engineering
One-line development, equipment specification, ratings and arrangement, coordination with the study engineer, submittals.
Integration
Switchgear, transformers, ATS, generators, BESS and controls brought together as a tested system — including third-party platforms.
Manufacturing support
Assembly, re-work and testing at partner-hosted Texas facilities; factory acceptance testing with customers present.
Modernization
Relay and trip-unit upgrades, breaker replacement, monitoring retrofits and control additions to installed lineups.
Automation & controls
Transfer schemes, paralleling, load management, SCADA and HMI — documented and tested.
Monitoring & intelligence
Condition monitoring, historian and analytics configuration, health scoring and maintenance recommendations.
How we work
Six engineering principles
The power system comes first
Ratings, coordination and construction are decided before a single tag is named. Software that does not respect the electrical design is a liability, not a feature.
Protection is independent
Relays and trip units protect whether or not the network is up. Automation acts only inside engineered permissives. Analytics advise.
Document it like you will be audited
Control narratives, settings, I/O lists, test records. If it is not written down, it did not happen.
Design for the person in front of the gear
Remote racking, remote operation, maintenance-mode settings and monitoring that keep doors closed are design inputs, not options.
Multi-platform by necessity
Facilities run mixed fleets. We work across ABB, Eaton and Schneider Electric power platforms without pretending to be any of them.
Say what you can prove
No invented uptime numbers, no borrowed certifications. Claims about equipment are tied to the equipment and configuration actually offered.
Multi-platform power expertise
Engineering and integration experience across ABB, Eaton and Schneider Electric power platforms
Multi-platform expertise for leading LV and MV switchgear ecosystems.
Schneider Electric / Square D
Platform experience — engineering and integration
LV switchboards and LV power switchgear, MV metal-clad and metal-enclosed switchgear, trip units and protective relays, power meters
Eaton
Platform experience — engineering and integration
LV switchboards and LV power switchgear, MV metal-clad switchgear and vacuum breakers, trip units and relays, power monitoring
ABB
Platform experience — engineering and integration
MV metal-clad switchgear and vacuum breakers, protective relays and IEDs, LV power breakers and switchgear, condition monitoring
Capabilities across platforms
- · Equipment integration
- · Modernization and retrofit
- · Breaker applications and replacement planning
- · Metering and power quality
- · Protection settings coordination
- · Controls and transfer logic
- · Communications and SCADA integration
- · Field support, testing and commissioning
Most facilities run more than one manufacturer's equipment. Engineering and integration experience across ABB, Eaton and Schneider Electric power platforms lets us specify, coordinate and modernize what is already installed, connect it to a common monitoring layer, and plan replacements on the customer's schedule rather than a single vendor's catalog.

A note on claims
You will not find project counts, uptime percentages or certification badges on this site unless we can substantiate them for the equipment and configuration being offered. Applicable listings, standards and design requirements depend on equipment type, configuration, project specifications and jurisdiction. Ask us — we would rather show you a test report than a logo.
Prefer the original site? apexpowertx.com remains available for transfer switches, load banks, cables and emergency lighting products.

Let's engineer the power system —
and the intelligence around it.
Send a one-line, a specification or a photo of what is installed today. An engineer reviews it and tells you what fits — equipment, protection, controls and monitoring — before anyone talks price.
